국민의힘 대전시당 생활체육특별위원회가 대전오월드 앞에서 걸으며 쓰레기를 줍는 환경정화 활동 플로킹을 실시했다.

플로킹은 어린이와 시민들이 많이 찾는 오월드 일대 보문산 산책로 주변의 쓰레기를 줍는 것을 시작으로 건강을 위해 트래킹을 하면서 환경정화 활동을 펴는 것으로 실시 됐다.

플로킹에 앞서 이은권 대전시당위원장은 “보문산과 오월드는 우리 대전 시민뿐만 아니라 영호남의 많은 어린이와 시민들이 자주 찾는 대전의 명소”라고 강조하고 “타지에서 오시는 귀한 손님들이 이곳을 기분좋게 방문하실 수 있도록 환경정화를 펼치자”면서 행사를 기획한 생활체육특위 위원들에게 감사의 뜻을 전했다.

이은권 위원장은 이어, "국민의힘 대전시당은 이곳 보문산 일대에 외지 관광객을 모시기 위해 장기적인 마스터플랜을 바탕으로 보문산 일대가 명실상부 대전 최고의 관광명소로 거듭나기 위해 많은 관심을 바란다."고 당부했다.

이어, 행사를 주관한 조상현 생활체육특별위원장은 "(오월드는)어른들의 과거 꿈의 동산이며, 우리 어린이들의 현재의 꿈의 동산을 우리의 손으로 직접 가꾸기 위해, 또, 동시에 겨울철 건강도 챙길 수 있는 행사를 마련했다."며, 행사 취지를 설명했다.

박희조 동구청장도 "청년들도 주측되어 구성된 생활체육특위가 청년들의 깊은 생각으로 어린이들의 마음을 따뜻하게 만드는 것 같다“고 말하고 마음가지 건강한 플로킹이 되어 달라고 당부했다.

한편 이날 행사에는 이은권 시당위원장을 비롯해 장희택 수석부위원장과 박희조 동구청장,  송인석, 민경배 대전시의원, 이정수, 김옥향, 안형진, 김석환 중구의원, 설재형 서구의원 및 생활체육특별위원 등이 참여했다.
