박 의원은 “소진공이 이전하겠다는 신세계 사이언스 콤플렉스는 애당초 건립 목적이 지역 과학기술의 랜드마크를 만들겠다며 지은 건물”이라며 “과학 관련 복합시설 또는 과학 체험시설도 아닌 소진공이 이 건물에 입주하는 것부터가 애당초 건립 목적과 부합하지 않는다”고 지적했다.
