최민호 세종시장이 24일 시청 대회의실에서 시정4기 정책 결정을 지원하고, 시민과소통을 강화하기 위해 경제·대외·문화·언론·안전·농업·청년 등 7가지 분야 정책특별보좌관 9명을 위촉했다.

이날 위촉한 정책특별보좌관은 ▲경제분야 조원권 전 우송대학교 교수 ▲대외분야 서준원 전 여의도연구원 이사·이만열 아시아인스티튜트 이사장 ▲문화분야 유태희 행복도시필하모닉오케스트라 예술감독이다.

또 ▲언론분야 임규모 프레스뉴스 세종본부장 ▲안전분야 이정기 합동참모본부 선임관찰관·박희용 전 세종경찰청장 ▲농업분야 임국화 농업회사법인 방앗간코리아㈜ 대표 ▲청년분야 정민기 대한체육회 대한세팍타크로협회 이사도 위촉했다. 

이들은 비상임 위촉직으로 2년의 임기 동안 시정 주요 현안 자문, 시정 주요 정책수립 제언 등 시정 발전방안 모색에 힘을 보태게 된다.

최민호 세종시장은 “이번 정책특보단은 시민 의견에 귀 기울이고 정책 전문성을 높이기 위해 해당 분야에 풍부한 경험과 전문성을 갖춘 적임자로 구성했다”라며 “앞으로 특보단의 전문성을 십분 활용하여 꾸준히 소통하고 정책을 꼼꼼히 살펴 ‘미래전략수도 세종’을 완성하겠다”라고 말했다.
