오는 7월 1일 출범하는 제9대 논산시의회 원구성이 사실상 마무리됐다.

24일 논산시의회에 따르면 여야 대표는 최근 원 구성 협상을 통해 시의장에는 민주당 서원 의원(재선), 부의장에는 국민의힘 이상구 당선인으로 구성하기로 합의했다고 밝혔다.

상임위원장의 경우 의회운영위원장에 민주당 서승필 당선인, 행정자치위원장에 민주당 민병춘 당선자, 산업건설위원장에 국민의힘 김남충 의원을 내정했다.

여야는 의원 당선인들의 상임위 배속도 조만간 확정할 예정이다.

시의회는 내달 1일 오전 10시 임시회를 열어 의장과 부의장, 상임위원장을 뽑을 예정이다.
