일부 대전시의원들이 6월 31일을 끝으로 의원 임기가 끝나는 시점에 외유성 해외 출장을 간것에 분노한 시민단체 대표가 대전시의회를 찾아 현관에 개똥을 뿌리는 소동을 벌였다.

자신을 시민단체 애국국민운동대연합 대표라고 소개한 오천도 대표는 외유성 출장 논란을 빚고 있는 대전시의회에 항의 방문해  준비한 개똥을 투척했다.

오대표는 21일 오후 2시쯤 시의회 현관 앞에 개똥을 투척하며 "어떻게 국민들의 세금으로 업자들과 출장을 갈 수 있느냐"며 의원들의 해외출장에 업자를 대동했다면서 분노를 표출했다.

그는 "낙선자들이 출장을 가서 무엇을 어떻게 하겠다고 하는 것인가"라며 "당신들이 사용한 그 출장비는 시골의 할아버지 할머니들이 시장에서 힘들게 장사하고 폐지를 주워 팔아 성실하게 낸 세금"이라고 일침을 놨다.

그러면서 "이제 시의원이 아니니까 마지막으로 한번 쓰자 이런 것이냐"라며 "이런게 관례가 되면 다음에 또 이런 일이 발생할 것"이라고 지적했다.

이어 "이러한 처사들은 공무원들과 시민들을 우습게 아는 것"이라며 "충청도인으로서 참혹하고 괴리감을 느낀다"고 한탄했다.

오씨는 항의 후 취재진과의 인터뷰에서 "업무상 배임과 직권남용, 횡령 등으로 고발조치 할 것"이라며 "둔산경찰서와 부정부패수사대, 국민권익위원회, 공수처에 직접 고발장을 제출하겠다"고 말했다.

한편 오씨는 같은날 오전 11시에 대전시의회와 같은 논란을 빚고 있는 충북도의회에 항의방문해 오물을 투척한 바 있다.
