In addition, Mayor Heo Tae-jeong and other executives showed a strong will to mobilize all administrative power, such as visiting the transition committee and government ministries, so that the Daejeon development promise can be reflected in the national agenda.

Deuk-won Yoo, head of the planning and coordination office in Daejeon, who conducted the briefing on this day, said, “We will build a network such as holding meetings with lawmakers, experts in each field, and those who are expatriates so that major promises of Daejeon can be reflected in state affairs. Therefore, we will continue the atmosphere of all-out countermeasures, such as strengthening external cooperation for the commercialization of regional development tasks.”

On the other hand, in light of past precedents such as the 18th presidential election, the transition committee is expected to be officially launched in about 10 days after the election, and Daejeon City has been holding a visit to the transition committee from the beginning of next month to suggest state tasks for major regional promises.
