매년 연말, 전 세계 발레 팬들을 설레게 하는 스테디셀러 [호두까기인형]이 올해는 유니버설발레단의 무대로 대전예술의전당에 찾아온다.

작년 코로나19로 공연이 취소되었다 올해 다시 찾아오는 무대로 관객들의 기대가 더하다.
 
발레 [호두까기인형]은 크리스마스이브에 호두까기인형을 선물 받은 소녀 클라라가 왕자로 변한 호두까기인형과 함께 과자의 나라로 떠나면서 펼쳐지는 모험담을 담았다.

발레계 명콤비, 작곡가 차이콥스키와 안무가 마리우스 프티파가 탄생시킨 대표작으로 어린이에게는 환상의 세계를, 어른에게는 동심의 세계를 선사하며 1892년 세계 초연 이후 현재까지, 연말연시 전 세계에서 사랑받고 있다.

특히 유니버설발레단의 [호두까기인형]은 차이콥스키 음악의 아름다움을 가장 잘 살려냈다는 러시아 마린스키발레단의 바실리 바이노넨 버전을 각색한 무대로 신비하고 환상적인 무대와 의상, [꽃의 왈츠], [눈의 왈츠]를 비롯 세계 각국의 개성을 보여주는 아름다운 춤 등 풍성한 볼거리가 가득하다.
 
이번 대전공연에서는 손유희 & 콘스탄틴 노보셀로프, 서혜원 & 이동탁, 엘리자베타 체프라소바 & 드미트리 디아츠코프, 한상이 & 강민우 총 네 커플이 주역 클라라와 호두까기왕자로 출연해 기대를 모은다.

공연은 12월 10일부터 12일까지 금요일 19:30, 토요일 15:00, 19:00, 일요일 15:00 총 4회로 대전예술의전당 아트홀에서 진행된다. 티켓은 R석 7만원, S석 5만원, A석 3만원, B석 2만원이다.
